The road to success is always under construction

Winning isn't everything. But wanting to win is.

Don't fight too much. Or the enemy would know your art of war.

If you don't stand for something, you will fall for everything.

Only those who do nothing do not make mistakes.

The road to success is always under construction.

Don't fall in love; grow in love.

Mental & Emotional Effort!

Mental & Emotional Effort means finding the ways and means of overcoming a problem. Be calm and continue pushing ahead.
~ Master Choa Kok Sui

Peace and Stillness!

Peace and stillness are the great remedy for disease. Catch hold of a peace deep within and push it into the cells of the body. With the peace will come back the health. - The Mother

Grand Master Choa Kok Sui

My spiritual teacher

It is okay to be at a place of struggle

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...

....that it is okay to be at a place of struggle. Struggle is just another word for growth. Even the most evolved beings find themselves in a place of struggle now and then. In fact, struggle is a sure sign to them that they are expanding; it is their indication of real and important progress.

The only one who doesn't struggle is the one who doesn't grow. So if you are struggling right now, see it as a terrific sign -- and celebrate your struggle.

What matters?

Do things we intensely aspire for throughout a long duration in our existence - wealth, relationships, desire for this and that and etc and etc really matter? Or are they tools of God to make us understand the transience nature of existence? And be aware. Learn our lessons. Be aware of God and work to ultimately go near him?

Perspectives

Perspective: A way of thinking about something, especially one which is influenced by the type of person you are or by your experiences.
--The Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English Online

It's interesting to think how our perspectives are clouded by our experiences and what these experiences have made us as individuals. While the reasons are no longer there, we continue to think, feel, react and act the same old way. Take care of what plays inside. It determines how you see the play outside.

Madras!

When I decided to move to Chennai, I heard various things about the city. There are only three seasons in the city: Hot, hotter and hottest. People are snobs and speak only Tamil even if they know other languages. It's so much polluted and on and on. I have been in Chennai for the last one week. Even though I have stayed only in a company-provided business class hotel, I can say I have got an idea of the city since I have been moving around to locate an appropriate house. There are all sorts of people in here: From Nagpur to Patna. And yes most local people speak only in Tamil and that is because they don't know any other north Indian language. If you know English and are willing to communicate, you can find your way around the city. Pollution levels are like any other cities and after all it's not as bad as it is portrayed to be. People, local people, also go out of their ways to help someone new to the city.

After all it's a country called India.

Hero in your soul

Good lines by Ayn Rand
Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.
Ayn Rand, Russian-born American Author.

Music

Music can be so much harmony and so much cacophony. A direct communication with God and your soul and so much a thing that disturbs you. Whatever, it affects and goes very deep. Watch out what you play.

Dreams and Destiny

Everything has a purpose. Our lives too. You may call it your calling in life, your destiny, dreams, aspirations or whatever. But it is important that we are aware of it, accept, find, acknowledge and live it. Fulfilment and life starts the day you start working for your dreams. Have you found your calling in life?

How Low Can One Go?

Or how high? Life is indeed amazing! It takes turns and twists that you would never have the brains to think it would. God, almighty, is so creative! This morning I also read a rather beautiful line: Even disaster can be funny. Contradictions abound in this world. A well-deserved reward never comes and when things don't go fine they tend to make few more things like them. But as they say experience is a great teacher. Very cliched! Very true! Ultimately, it boils down to whether we learn a lesson. The kind of lesson we learn decides what we become in the process.

Difficult to digest facts are a sign that you leave no scope for the facts to be recreated ever again. Sometimes, it's too dark and it's only a sign that the dawn is about to break...

From a Friend

No Problem Lasts Forever

No problem lasts forever. No matter how permanently fixed in the center of our lives it may seem, whatever we experience in this ever-changing life is sure to pass. Even pain.

Difficult situations often bring out qualities in us that otherwise might not have risen to the surface, such as courage and faith.

All of our experiences can help us to grow. But we may need patience.
